Andrew W.K. is either a punk rock/heavy metal subversive who just wants to give the kids something to believe in again, or he's the creator of the most simplistic faux-metal ever put on wax and deserves to spend eternity in a small room with Sigue Sigue Sputnik. He's actually a little of both. His music is an unholy mixture of synths, power chords and empowering T-Shirt slogans, all brought to life by Andrew himself -- radiant in filthy denim and T-Shirt, pumping fists and shaking hands.
