Live at The Cutting Room
Runtime: 22 minThere is something truly unique about the music that pours out of the four lads who comprise the experimental, indie outfit, Alt-J. It has a sparkling, melodious quality in the way the guitars fizzle in a bed of digital mist. But there are odd chanting harmonies, crunchy riffs that'll snap your teeth, and, most notably, a disjointed, percussive approach that's mightier than all. It's all helped to stew a bit of a phenomenon on the band's side of the Atlantic. Why just today the band snatched themselves a nomination for the prestigious Mercury Prize for their debut, An Awesome Wave (which is just about the best way to describe what lies within). Here in the US, the band is currently spreading the gospel one city at a time. Recently, that meant a quick stop at The Cutting Room Studios in NYC for a live-to-air session with our friends at KEXP Seattle. In its' aftermath, we're obviously converted...and we don't think you stand a chance either.

Live at Hype Machine's Hype Hotel
Runtime: 23 minThe music created by Dublin alternative four-piece Kodaline will hijack a diverse assortment of souls. Their debut EP, released last year, featured four songs, all of which offered their own marque of sincerity stretching from the indie rock simplicity of "Perfect World" to the highest reaches of the arena-suited "All I Want", where frontman Steve Garrigan squeezes hearts with a voice comparable only to that of Coldplay's Chris Martin. Kodaline is a perfect emblem of a band that will undoubtedly explode in the U.S. as their genre melding music is accessible to fans of any palate.
Baeble captured the Irishmen during their recent trip to the States when they made a profound pit stop at Hype Machine's Hype Hotel down in Austin this March. Their debut full-length studio album, In A Perfect World is due out next month, June 10th, and we're confident this concert capture will be the perfect icebreaker with your new favorite band: Kodaline.
Dust and Thunder: Live in South Africa
Mumford & Sons
Runtime: 1 hr 31 minDUST AND THUNDER chronicles the meeting of South Africa with their long-standing favorites, Mumford & Sons. A British band in huge demand, and a country extremely excited to welcome them. With a coachload of their close musical friends brought along for the ride, this exquisitely shot film captures the tour's conclusion with two nights in the beautiful Pretorian outback.
Airing new songs from Wilder Mind and the Johannesburg mini-album (a collaboration with Baaba Maal, The Very Best and Beatenburg) for the first time, and watching the expansive crowds hollering back the old favorites, DUST AND THUNDER gets to the very heart of what makes Mumford & Sons such a special act, with the stunning beauty of the Pretorian outback as their backdrop.
Captured with gusto by award-winning live specialist Dick Carruthers, the result is an exciting and emotional document and a truly spectacular concert film that may well go down as their finest.

Live at Baeble HQ
Runtime: 18 minMike Rosenberg's crafted some of the very best observational songwriting of the year with his lovely new album, All the Little Lights. It's a lush, acoustic collection he's complemented with the perfect epithet in Passenger. "The lyrics and the stories," explains the young, Brighton-born-and-bred musician, "are told from the perspective of a passenger just watching the world go by." For his stirring session in our music room, Mike spun tales of a lonely afternoon on a riverbank in Glasgow Scotland ("Feather On the Clyde"), the hard appreciation that spawns only in the wake of personal loss ("Let Her Go") and a reminder that the present moment is everything ("Life's for the Living"). It's an emotional performance; a journey you'll be grateful to be a passenger aboard.
